Affiliate Disclosure
This site earns commissions from hosting and domain links. Here is exactly when one can appear, what it can say, and what it can never do.

The disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, we receive a commission from that company. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you pay is the same as going to them directly.
This is how the tools stay free with no accounts, no paywall and no ads. It is also the single biggest threat to their usefulness, which is why the rest of this page exists.
When a commercial link can appear
A suggestion appears only after a check has run, and only when that check found a specific problem the linked product addresses. The valid triggers are:
- Server response time measured above the threshold from multiple regions.
- Core Web Vitals failing on server-side metrics.
- A missing, expired, or self-signed TLS certificate.
- A site that is confirmed unreachable.
- A domain confirmed available at the registry.
It never appears on page load. It never appears next to a passing result. It never appears anywhere unconnected to something that was actually measured. If every check on a page comes back clean, you will not see a commercial link on that page at all.
This is enforced in the code rather than remembered: the component that renders a suggestion requires the specific finding as an input and renders nothing without one. There is no way to place one on a page speculatively.
What a suggestion has to do
- State the problem before naming a product. The finding comes first, in your terms, with the measured value that triggered it.
- Look like a link, not a result. A commercial link is never styled as, placed inside, or worded like part of a measurement.
- Be labelled where it appears. Every suggestion carries its own disclosure inline, so you never have to reach this page to know what you are looking at.
- Be marked for search engines. Every commercial link carries
rel="sponsored nofollow". - Claim only what is verifiable. No invented benchmarks, no “up to” numbers, no comparisons we have not checked.
What we will never do
- Adjust a result to make a link relevant. The measurement code has no knowledge of which partners exist. Thresholds are the published industry ones, and they are printed next to every verdict so you can check them against ours.
- Fail a site that passed. A clean result is reported as clean, and earns nothing.
- Claim a partnership we do not have. An affiliate relationship is a referral arrangement. It is not an endorsement by that company of this site, and we will never describe it as one.
- Put a partner’s brand name in a URL. No partner name appears in any domain, subdomain, or page path on this site.
- Rank partners above better answers. Where a problem has a free or non-commercial fix, that fix is given first, whether or not anything is linked afterwards.
Current partners
None yet. No affiliate programme is active on this site at the time of writing, so no commercial link currently appears anywhere on it.
When that changes, every partner will be named in this list, with the date the relationship started and which tools can surface it. If this list is empty, there is nothing to disclose.
If you would rather not use them
Every suggestion names the product in plain text, so you can search for it and go directly. Nothing on this site is gated behind following a link, and no tool behaves differently if you ignore one.
Why you can check this rather than believe it
Every result on this site prints a transcript of the raw lookup that produced it — the resolver or endpoint queried, the response, the timing, the cache state. If a suggestion appeared, the finding that triggered it is in that transcript.
So the claim on this page is testable. Run the same query yourself with dig, openssl or curl, compare it to the transcript, and see whether the result we showed you was the result we measured. The methodology is documented in full on how we measure.
If you ever find a case where these rules were not followed, report it to hello@sitechecktools.com. It will be treated as a bug, not as feedback.
